Every quotation, Pro-forma invoice, price list or other similar document made or issued by Ukdatatech LTD (“the company”) is made or issued subject to these General Terms and Conditions of Sale. These terms and conditions do not affect consumers’ statutory rights as contained in current legislation governing the relationship between consumers and businesses.
The Company means Ukdatatech LTD the Customer, The Consumer, or You, means the account applicant or person who buys or agrees to buy goods from the company.
2. Online Ordering
To place orders on our online store you must be a UK registered cardholder.
You agree to be of legal age to purchase and/or use any product that must adhere to official or recommended age ratings.
4.Acceptance of Orders
No order resulting from any quotation, Pro-forma invoice, price list or other similar document made or issued by the company shall be binding unless and until it is accepted by the company. The company at its absolute discretion may accept or reject any order whether on account of the equipment being no longer available or for any other reason whatsoever.
If an order is placed and instant payment is made using debit or credit card, direct bank payment (BACS) or any other method, the contract for the goods will not be considered accepted until the goods are in stock and ready for shipping. If for reasons beyond our control we are unable to supply the goods to you, we may cancel the agreement at any time before shipment by giving notice to you. We shall promptly repay to you any sums paid by you or on your behalf under or in relation to the agreement. This may be due, but not limited to, an inability or failure on the part of the manufacturers or suppliers of the goods to supply the goods to us. We shall not be liable for any other loss or damage whatever arising from such cancellation.
The company warrants that the goods will, at the time of delivery, correspond to the description given by the company. It is the responsibility of the consumer to check the compatibility and suitability of goods for any particular purpose before ordering. We aim to dispatch all goods for sale on our website within 48 hours as all goods advertised for sale are held in our warehouse based in Poole Dorset. If you would like to inspect goods first, please contact our customer services team on firstname.lastname@example.org.

Whilst every reasonable effort shall be made to keep to any delivery date, time of delivery shall not be of the essence and the company shall not be liable for any losses, costs, damages or expenses incurred by the consumer or any other person or company arising directly or indirectly out of any failure to meet any estimated delivery date. The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the consumer upon delivery of such goods to the consumer.
9.Right to cancel
When you purchase on our website you enter into a contract between us UKDATATECH LTD and the purchaser named on the invoice.You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire after 14 days from the day of delivery. To exercise the right to cancel you must inform us of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or email). You may use the attached model cancellation form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the cancellation deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning your exercise of the right to cancel before the cancellation period has expired.
Effects of cancellation
If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse to you all payments received from you. We may make a deduction from the reimbursement for loss in value of any goods supplied if the loss is the result of unnecessary handling by you. We will make the reimbursement without undue delay, and not later than—
(a) 14 days after the day we receive back from you any goods supplied, or
(b) (if earlier) 14 days after the day you provide evidence that you have returned the goods, or
(c) if there were no goods supplied, 14 days after the day on which we are informed about your decision to cancel this contract. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
We will make the reimbursement using the same means of payment as you used for the initial transaction,

10.Ownership and Risk
The risk in the goods shall pass from the company to the consumer upon delivery of such goods to the consumer. However, notwithstanding delivery and the passing of risk in the goods, title and property in the goods, including full legal and beneficial ownership, shall not pass to the consumer until the company has received in cash or cleared funds, payment in full for all goods delivered to the consumer under this and all other contracts between the company and the consumer for which payment of the full price of the goods thereunder has not been paid. Payment of the full price of the goods shall include the amount of any interest or other sums payable under the terms of this and all other contracts between the company and the consumer under which the goods were delivered.
11. Damages, Shortages and Incorrect Goods
To expedite your redress, we recommend the consumer report any damage, shortage or incorrect goods to the company within a reasonable period of time.

Provided prompt notice of transit damage or loss is given and provided it is proved to the company’s satisfaction that such damage occurred in transit in the UK but not otherwise, the company will refund, repair or replace such equipment free of charge to the consumer. If any goods appear visually or otherwise damaged at the point of delivery to the consumer, the consumer should either sign for the goods as damaged or unchecked or reject the goods for return to the company/supplier by the courier. In either instance, the consumer should contact Customer Services as soon as possible, within the reasonable period of time. All products returned to us must be as complete, including accessories and original packaging as received.
12.Consumer Contracts Regulations

This legislation covers items bought where there is no direct contact between the supplier and the consumer, to give the consumer the same opportunity to view the goods as they would do in-store. It does not apply for goods purchased for business use, for showrooms, fair or exhibitions. Goods may be opened for visual inspection but must not be used and must be returnable with both the product and the original packaging intact and undamaged. Removal of protective coverings and other physical damage may result in rejection for replacement or refund.
13.Warranty Returns, Repairs and Replacements
All products are subject to a one-year part and labour guarantee. If you wish to return any faulty item(s), you must first contact the Technical Support department to obtain a Product Return Number (RMA) either:

We will then arrange to send you a returns label for the refund, exchange or repair.
The warranty is non-transferable. UKDATATECH Ltd is not liable for any items returned without first obtaining an RMA number. Unless otherwise stated, RMA/Return numbers are valid for a period of seven (7) calendar days only. The goods remain the property of the consumer until received on-premises at the company.
Goods returned to the company as “faulty” will be assessed before any work is carried out for signs of transit or user damage. All returned goods are subject to a five (5) working day inspection/assessment period, which will begin at the point the goods are received by the company. Repair/replacement times can be approximately thirty (30) calendar days should a return to the manufacturer become necessary. Physical/User damage is not covered by warranty nor any “Care Pack” extensions.
Approximately thirty (30) calendar days from the receipt of goods by the consumer, the consumer is entitled to a repair, replacement or refund of the goods which are faulty. After thirty (30) calendar days of receipt of the goods by the consumer, the consumer is entitled to a repair or replacement only. Any refunds offered after the thirty (30) day period may be proportionate.
There is the possibility of data loss during testing/repair. Before returning any item capable of storing data (including PCs & notebooks) please ensure that all data stored on it is backed up. It is solely the customer’s responsibility to back up their data.
Should any equipment malfunction as a result of abnormal environmental factors (including without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing mains power transients or dropouts, electromagnetic interference, extremes of humidity, vibration, electrostatic damage, temperature or pressure or chemical corrosion then all costs incurred by the company in repairing such equipment and investigating the causes of the malfunction shall be payable to the company.
The company will not be liable for any breach of agreement, for delay or failure to perform if the delay or failure is due to acts of God, civil commotion, riots, floods, drought, fire, legislation or other cause beyond the companies’ reasonable control. This does not affect your statutory rights. If the company chooses not to enforce a right under this agreement, that decision will not prevent the enforcement of other rights, or the same right on a later occasion.
Under no circumstances shall the Company be responsible for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

18. Product Grading (Condition)
Some of our products are not considered ‘Brand New’ products, they are considered Graded products. On each of our listings, it will show the grading of the product. A product can become classed as Graded in several ways. Most big guys out there all offer 30-day return policies. This can be anything from an unwanted gift, a change of mind from the customer or even the wrong colour of an item. Once the product has been opened from its original packaging, the sellers are no longer able to resell the item as brand new. This is where we come in.
Whilst the products are Graded, essentially, it’s often a brand-new item in fantastic condition, simply returned as unwanted and picked up by ourselves for resale. This means that we can bring you a great product at a great price, saving you a huge amount of money in the process! With almost 30 years of experience dealing in Graded products, we’re confident you will be delighted. For that reason, we offer you a 14 day no quibble returns policy and Free Five Years Guarantee on all TV’S purchased from us. All products are technically tested, processed, repackaged and offered for sale. Before the sale, all items undergo a comprehensive quality control process by our engineers. In most cases, the item will be supplied with its original packaging. If the original packaging is not supplied, we will supply other secure packaging to keep the item well protected in transit. All items sold at Tekshopz carry either a free 5 year or 12 months ‘return to base’ warranty provided by ourselves (unless otherwise stated). Our guarantee on all our products demonstrates our confidence in each product we sell. This really is an amazing way to save hundreds of “Brand New” prices without sacrificing any of the quality or performance!
TV AND PC GRADING
Graded item or ex-display & complete with all essential accessories (Remote and power cables), Mostly open box products where they are just re-checked by us but have never been used. These items will be unsealed and have been checked by the manufacturer and ourselves. In rare cases, some items may have very minor marks as they have been subject to handling and processing. Most items are supplied with manuals however if they are missing please go to the manufacturer’s website for your product and you will be able to download a copy in PDF to print. In rare cases, we may replace the packaging for the security of the item in transit, however, these will be supplied in the original packing on most occasions.
Graded product that is in full working order (unless otherwise stated) may show signs of wear and TVs may have more significant scratches/damage on the screen, plastics or back of the item. Minor screen defects (screen burn etc.) are to be expected, email before purchase if you require images. TV’S come complete with the main remote control only. May not be in original boxes. Grade B items are sold on an “as seen” basis, and are unable to be returned for are refund in any event. Grade B items are sold with a 12-month warranty, for any undisclosed fault, not part of the grading description.
Please note: As our products are graded TV units do not come with the serial number’s stickers on the back. Manufacturers themselves take off the serial numbers on the products before shipping to us. This is to ensure customers do not return items in-store for an RRP refund. Your serial number will be on the menu of the product.
THIS APPLIES TO ALL TV GRADES We will supply all the basic (essential) accessories i.e. remotes, power cables, etc. Any other accessories such as cleaning cloths, adaptors, wall mounts, stands, etc. may not be in the box when received by us, if this is the case we will only supply our customers with all essential accessories.
OTHER ITEMS GRADING (MOBILE PHONES, TABLETS, WEARABLES, GAMING, ETC.)
These items have been inspected and are in as new condition complete with all essential accessories. These items will be unsealed and have been checked by the manufacturer and ourselves. The warranty is with us for one year from the date of purchase. Outer packing will not be sealed, and boxes may have stickers or other marks on them.
A graded product that is in full working order (unless otherwise stated) may show signs of wear and have scratches on the screen or plastics. Grade B items are sold on an “as-seen” basis, and are unable to be returned for are refund in any event. Grade B items are sold with a 12-month warranty, for any undisclosed fault, not part of the grading description
Please note: As our products are graded the serial/IMEI number on the back will be removed. Manufacturers themselves take off the serial numbers on the products before shipping to us. This is to ensure customers do not return items in-store for an RRP refund. Your serial/IMEI number will be in the menu of the product.
APPLE PRODUCTS – All graded Apple products sold through our site, are sold without any accessories. We will supply purely the handset; however, no other accessories are included.
ESSENTIAL ACCESSORIES – Essential accessories for the mobile phones we sell would be the charging plug and the USB charging cable. This what you can expect to be included on all of the phones we sell, regardless of the grade. Any other accessories such as headphones etc. may be included but this is not guaranteed.
